Introduction
Semiconductor photocatalysis is one of the most important technologies for environmental remediation because it utilizes solar energy to decompose various organic compounds in open air and under mild aqueous conditions.

Nanocrystalline Mo- and C-codoped anatase TiO2 were successfully synthesized by a sol-gel process. The codoped TiO2 showed a higher BET-specific surface area and the best photocatalytic activity for degrading MO was obtained for the M(0.04%)CT sample. Morphology Control

A novel and facile soft-chemical method has been proposed for the synthesis of Ag3PO4 crystals with various new morphologies (branch, tetrapod, nanorod, triangular prism), and the morphological effect on the photocatalytic activity of obtained Ag3PO4 crystals has been investigated.

Graphene sheets were obtained through solvethermal reduction of colloidal dispersion of graphene oxide in benzyl alcohol. The graphene/rod-shaped TiO2 nano-composite was syhthesized by this novel and facile solvothermal method. Dong et al., Nanoscale, 4 4641-4649 (2012)

The Ag3PO4/RGOs nanocomposites have been successfully and directly produced via a facile chemical precipitation approach in DMF solvent. Among a series of Ag3PO4/RGOs nanocomposites, the Ag3PO4/2.1wt% RGOs nanocomposite shows the best photocatalytic activity despite degradation of MB or MO. Efficient Persistent Photocatalysis

A useful application of long afterglow phosphor should be in providing proper luminescence as a light source for photocatalysts which achives the persistent photocatalytic activity even in the dark after turning off light for long time.
